Andrew Maurice Love (Memphis, 1941-2012), conosciuto come Andrew Love, tenorsassofonista cofondatore dei Memphis Horns presso Stax Records (v. sotto) insieme a Wayne Jackson, entrambi già membri (Love entrò più tardi) della sezione fiati dei Mar-Keys, la prima studio band della leggendaria etichetta, cioè il nucleo che architettò il suono ricco, preciso e pieno distintivo della Casa, in particolare nato attraverso il sostegno richiesto da Otis Redding, il principale artista Stax degli anni 1960. Oltre a Redding, i due sostennero altri nomi Stax, come Rufus Thomas, Sam & Dave, Wilson Pickett, Albert King, Isaac Hayes, William Bell, Eddie Floyd. Precedentemente Love era stato sessionman presso Hi-Records di Willie Mitchell. Jackson e Love lasciarono Stax nel 1969, quando dopo la scomparsa di Redding cominciò a sfaldarsi, e come unità a sé con il nome di Memphis Horns furono messi sotto contratto da Atlantic, suonando ad esempio per Aretha Franklin, e John Prine. Negli anni seguenti lavorarono come free-lance per varie etichette e diversi artisti.
